Recently, three local standards proposed by the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Transport, including the "Design Specification for LED Lighting in Highway Tunnels", "Technical Conditions for LED Lighting in Highway Tunnels", and "Construction Acceptance Specification for LED Lighting in Highway Tunnels", have passed expert review organized by the provincial bureau. Jiang Hongnan, Deputy Inspector of the Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau, attended the review meeting and requested to increase the work of standard revision, improve the applicability of standards, and enhance the core competitiveness of our province.

In order to standardize LED lighting products for highway tunnels, promote the application of LED lighting in tunnel lighting energy-saving projects and the development of LED industry clusters, the Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau has organized the development of three provincial and local standards, including the "Design Specification for LED Lighting in Highway Tunnels".

This batch of standards was developed based on in-depth investigation and research, careful summary of domestic and foreign scientific research achievements, as well as the actual LED lighting of multiple highway tunnels in the province, and extensive solicitation of opinions from LED enterprises, combined with industry management needs. The standard technology is mature and advanced, with clear and rigorous expression, concise wording, and combined with the local characteristics of Jiangxi Province for technological innovation without violating national laws, regulations, and mandatory standards. It can effectively guide the design of LED lighting for highway tunnels, lighting technology conditions, and construction acceptance.
